Nintendo

Older handhelds were built to survive kids, and most still run. Repairs now go through the community, since Nintendo stopped servicing them years ago.

Shells, screens, batteries, and hinges are all sold aftermarket, and most of it is easy to fit yourself. That is good news for keeping a console running and bad news when you buy one. A unit can look factory new and have almost no original parts inside.
