Bissell designs for one mess and does it competently: the brushroll handles fur without wrapping, and the filter washes rather than needing replacement. As a secondary vacuum for a pet household it is hard to argue with.
Against the flagships it is outmatched on carpet and the build feels its price. Bought as the only vacuum in a carpeted house it will disappoint; bought as the pet-hair machine it will not.
