Blueair’s electrostatic approach means the fan pushes against far less resistance than a dense HEPA stack, so it moves serious volume without the motor noise that usually comes with it. On its lowest setting it disappears into a room.
There is no sensor, no readout, and no app — one button cycling three speeds. That is either the appeal or the dealbreaker, and it explains most of the price difference against the smart units.
