The nonstick coating on the basket wears through after a couple of years of regular use. That is the most consistent theme in longer-term owner reports, and it is where a plastic-heavy build and a low price eventually collect their bill. The machine still works. You no longer want to cook in it. Replacement baskets are sold, which more than several competitors manage, and budgeting for one is sensible.

Everything else explains why Cosori sells more mid-size air fryers in the US than anyone. At 5.8 quarts the basket suits two to four people. The presets are sensible. The basket goes into the dishwasher without ceremony, nonstick surface and all.

One feature separates it from cheaper units. Presets can be overwritten and saved. Every preset in every air fryer is calibrated for a specific food at a specific quantity, and yours will differ, so correcting one and keeping the correction means you stop compensating by hand after the first month.

Preheating takes two to three minutes, and the shake reminder earns its place instead of nagging.

Noise sits in the middle of this group, audible across a room and not across a flat.

The basket is deep, and food piled more than one layer thick steams instead of crisping. The capacity figure describes volume, not usable cooking area, and that is the most common reason first results disappoint.
