For the money it does the one job. Glass means you can see the fill level and the limescale, which is more useful than it sounds in a hard-water area.
There is no temperature control, the plastic collar discolours, and the failure rate in long-term owner reports is the highest in this group. It is a fine second kettle and a poor only one.
