Buy it if

The 57-degree angle rotates the forearm toward a handshake position, letting the radius and ulna sit parallel instead of crossed. That is the whole mechanism. Expect one to two weeks before precision returns to normal.

Vertical mice usually come in one size, which undermines the entire premise. Fitting your hand is the point. A shape too large reintroduces tension in the fingers; a shape too small drops your palm onto the desk. The Lift exists specifically as the small-and-medium option, and it is the only mainstream vertical mouse also sold in a left-handed version.

So check hand length, not preference. Logitech publishes a size guide, and people whose hands sit at the top of the recommended range generally report better comfort with the larger MX Vertical instead.

The scroll wheel is a conventional ratcheting design, not the free-spinning magnetic wheel from the Master line, and the sensor tops out at 4,000 DPI. Both are noticeable if you are coming from the MX Master and irrelevant if you are coming from a standard office mouse.

Power comes from a single AA battery rather than a rechargeable cell. Battery life is quoted in years and there is no charging cycle to degrade, so the arrangement reads as a limitation or a feature depending on your view. Pairing covers three devices from a button underneath, over both Bluetooth and a Logi Bolt receiver.
