This reproduces on the Galaxy side what AirPods do inside Apple’s ecosystem: handoff between devices, battery readouts, settings folded into the phone rather than a separate app you forget about.
The SSC codec only opens on Galaxy hardware. Pair these with an iPhone and you fall back to AAC, which takes most of the reason to buy them with it.
