For a garden party or a two-day camp with a shop nearby, this does the job at a price nothing else approaches. The lid takes an adult’s weight, which is more useful at a campsite than it sounds.
The hinges and the lid seal are where it gives up. In real heat the retention claim falls apart quickly, and the plastics do not survive being dropped loaded.
