Igloo reinforced the base and the corners of what is otherwise a conventional cooler, and the result survives real use while weighing a fraction of what rotomolded boxes do. That weight difference matters more than spec sheets suggest when you are carrying it loaded.
Ice retention is a clear step behind the rotomolded group. For anything past two days, it is the wrong tool.
