The K2 earns its recommendation by getting the layout right: 75 percent, so you keep arrows and a function row, with Mac and Windows keycaps in the box and a physical switch between them.
The compromise is height. Without a wrist rest the front edge sits high enough that owners frequently buy one afterwards. Budget for that.
